Deesider,

Your Quote: QP, how can you say or ask what we people have done for the club, either in recent weeks or recent years

I have never asked such a thing, I merely asked how many extra "people" you have brought into the club these past weeks. The problem is you dont read and take in what is said in posts properly and immediately act on the defensive.

For everyones sake, the 'flat cap brigade' thing was merely tongue in cheek not meant to be an insult, if I have offended anyone, I apologise.

Deesider, for the very, very last time - no one has ever said or forced you to do anything - for goodness sake please understand this. I have said, time and time again, there is a place for everyone in the stadium (read back to previous thread) but like Wivey said, to drown out everyone who is trying to do the club some good by bringing in extra support is indeed ludicrous. This is football !

And for those of you who think we want recognition for what we do for the club - shove it up your backside. The only reason for posting what we have done is from a productive point of view, to update and reinforce that we have actioned what we said we would do at the supporters meetings etc and to send out the message that wheels are in motion, this is going to happen or thats going to happen -

I thought this was what a message board was for????????????????????

From now on I guess I wont bother. I will just give updates at the supporters meetings.

Deesider, I diligently read every single post on this message board, as I am obliged to, including yours, and you also know how much I value most of your contributions. You have made clear on previous threads your wish to be quiet at football matches and you replied to a post that clearly does not interest you or address you.

Your contribution to this thread is the 2nd post that follows a couple young new supporters trying to Drum up support and starts as follows:-

"Old debate this one. How about moving on it's getting boring now."

Hardly encouraging for new supporters and perhaps your just trying to show that the pen is mightier than the drum on a message board.

Owain..................ref: your post on this thread @ 16:57.

I think you meant to direct your comments at Blaen.

Fair play QP that was a good post until you had to spoil it by telling people to shove it up their backsides!
I actually quite liked the flat cap comment and I'm proud to be a member, so no probs there. As for reading into things, that's the problem with forums, things can be taken many different ways, but I am by no means the only one guilty of this and I think both you and TT have to also look at yourselves.

On this subject, though, I am never going to back down and I can only say what I've said from the start. If you all want to sing/shout/screem that's fine but I don't like the demanding of other supporters to join in and that will never change.

Quality that one Wivey. The pen is mightier than the drum, I like it!

No, not backing down. Myself and others are feeling that our passion/loyalty are questioned if we don't screem and shout. Sorry Wivey but that is the way it has felt and I am by no means the only one saying it.

:-| Who is demanding Deesider? I really dont want this to go on and on and on, I have already explained now more than a handful of times.

To Quote OG: "were all nomads supporters, each different in their own way, united under one flag" Therefore, Barmy Army, "Flat Cappers" :oP, Old, Young, Male, Female, Black, White, Red, Pink, Noisy, Quiet - all welcome, the stadium is big enough to cater for all.

p.s. we now have four flags including Blaens. :-)

Wivey, we have designated a 'Barmy Army' seat for you (we'll even remove the bird poo for you) :-D

Deesider, good on ya mate! We have been on this message board together since its humble beginnings and I was glad when you returned. I have never questioned your loyalty, nor would I. As for your passion, if you choose not to show it at games then this message board is obviously a good outlet. You quarrelsome Bu..... !

owain g, of course your allowed to have your own opinion. If you don't want people to disagree with it, you simply keep it to yourself. Thats normally what people who like to stay quiet do. This thread was about banging the drum, what do you expect?

Talk about passion - fantastic thread, this. Nice to hear everyone in such good voice today, even if we are all singing the different songs from the Nomads hymn sheet

you all sound like baby's, sort yourselves out!!! why dont you all just think about the three points tomorrow, instead of who sings, who doesnt, who whines about being asked to sing, your grown ups, have a bit of banter but why argue like school children??? I for one think tomorrow we will give them a good beating, hopefully by 3 or 4, we're definately capable.

wheato, if you want to talk about the football tomorrow, give us our dummies back and do it on the other thread. This thread has got nothing to do with football - you should know better than to get involved with domestic arguments. :oD:oD

owain g. This is hardly personally abusive nor is it directed at you:-

"And for those of you who think we want recognition for what we do for the club - shove it up your backside."

I find that cats purr when you stroke them and if you stand on their tails their inclined to scratch back.
