It's a bit unfair to put all the blame on a few defenders when there were chances missed up front and a nailed on penalty turned down at 2 x 4 - the referree's undopubted mistake compounded by a yellow card for "diving" for Petrie when there was clear contact inside the box and a free kick awarded a yard outside. It happened right in front of me and I have the evidence to back this up.

Three of the goals were almost identical and came partly as a result of Druids' entirely different approach to that of TNS, when the central defensive pairing worked well together, and the relative lack of understanding between them and and the goalkeeper. Had the keeper committed himself to coming for the crosses that led to the three goals that came from crosses it might have been a different result.

The players are still learning about one another and the process can be messy. They can only improve, as they surely will. It was a freak result, they didn't become poor players overnight and they kept our only clean sheet this season last week - against the best team in the league.

Micky Moores I dont agree about ex cong players. I have spoke to a couple of them and they are more than committed to Nomads - cong is history for them, but wanted to carry on working with Andy, who they think very very highly of and the same now of Jim.

Perhaps all the squad regardless of their background have not performed well at certain times. But there are signs as a young team that we are going in the right direction. Jones has been our best player this year, Baker has done well, and along with Bungle these 3 would lead a player of the year vote.

Most of the others are learning and are a bit in and out. Wes and McAllister with fitness, Cook has ability but drifts, White should impress more, as should Glover, Pinch, Peetrie and Cadd.

I dont see the same in Herbert as you do, maybe he needs a chance but the games I have seen him off the bench I am yet to be convinced.

but thats what makes football, and discussion forums great - its all about opinions! And the only ones that matter are Jim and Andy's! Surely none of us are that disappointed with what we have done so far? plus some of the football is great to watch at times. As long as we dont go down this season and build again in January I think it is a success!

I agree with micky moores herbert should get a chance to show what he has got. For me macca is far too slow and doesnt hold the ball up either. I just think herbert has more about him. I dont know how you can get these lads up for player of the year after 9 games, come on now. Petrie should get better because he cant get worse as can caddy.

Yes it looks clear to me that andy lee is having a big say there are 3 players that should have been dropped by now but are still in week in week out. For me when a player is playing bad they should be dropped to keep them on there toes, for me macca has been poor for a few weeks now as has alson, i also think petrie is far from good enough for this level. Sorry to be harsh but it is clear to see.

Andy Lee is bound to have an influence, that is what an assistant manager is for!
I also think the Cong lads have done very well this season, we shouldn't forget the Welsh Prem is a different style and level of football to what they have been playing, and for me Jones has been outstanding since coming on as sub at Llangefni, first game of the season.

Stepho what i said was these players would LEAD a poy vote if it was held now - obviously not they have won it!

Also agree with Deesider, what do you think an assisatant/ coach/ whatever you call the role does? drive the manager to games? put cones out? Of course Andy will have a say, he was a manager himself last season and probably would still have been before linking up with Jim. Between the 2 of them they have brought in good players after there was virtually nothing in the summer. Of course 1 or 2 are not going to make the grade long term but the squad is not that deep by the look of it and until January it will remain the same.

I get a bit fed up of reading this player isnt good enough, Ben seems to be the latest after 1 bad game in however many. If Bungle had a bad game would you say the same? get real. some players are exempt from criticism. our keeper has made mistakes but quite rightly we dont have a go at him. Maybe I'll go through the squad later and mark them out of 10 so far! Finally on this, I quite like the look of Petrie, bit weak but we have not got anyone else with his ability to beat players - if he can be more stronger on the ball we may see a big difference. More effective off the bench though.

If we sign more in January fine the squad will change and Im sure Jim (not Andy though cos he will be making Jims tea!) will add players as he can.

Heres hoping for 3 points on Saturday!

What im saying is jim seems to be picking these lads when it is obvious a couple are not good enough, so someone must be in his ear i.e andy because he got them here. When caddy plays bad he gets dropped as does wes and herbert who has looked a very good striker in the 2 cup games i seen him start has not even had a chance. As for petri ive never seen him beat a man, that is what we are missing. Sorry to go on about petrie he is probably a great lad. Its just my view. But ive been proven wrong before as i said white not good enough but he has made me eat humble pie after his last few apperances. Think he would be better on the wing though, just so we have someone there to beat a man and get a cross in.

Sorry but you have to agree with stepho they do seem to be in week in week out so someone likes them a bit too much. Think maybe a bit harsh on petrie but be ok as sub. I totaly agree with the changes you said on other page wes in middle white out wide herbie in upfront. We need something differant and quick before we end up in a relegation battle by christmas.

McAllister and Herbert together? Where is the pace? and also if we have no one who can beat a man as you have said where do the crosses come from for their height? And are they that good in the air anyway? It should be one or the other with a White/ even Melia type of player alongside.

I agree with White he has done well last couple of games and hope he keeps doing so. Im not sure about him out wide though? Wes has undoubted ability but will have to be a lot fitter especially to play against the top teams. Cook is the mystery to me.

And as anyone who has played football at a level will know, the management usually come as a pair and do things 50/50, so I would imagine Jim and Andy pick the team and tatics that way? none of us will be moaning this time next week if we get 3 points on Saturday!

Is Herbie suppossed to be slow because he has looked quick enough when ive watched and his work rate is great thats why we would get away with playing them both and if you read what changes i would do i said white on the wing so there is the pace to get past a man and whip the ball in. What have we got to lose from trying it, were not playing well at the moment. Did you say melia? hope that was a spelling mistake.

Hey hey calm down boys, i thought it was me who is supposed to name and shame the players.....? Well obviously i was right what i was saying about these lads, more and more people are coming on complaining about some of these players, not so clueless now am i.? Well i still say macca and herbie is the way home upfront and white on the wing for his pace and without a doubt wes in the middle he is our most gifted player with bungle. I think the results will come we just need to get our confidence back. jj

HERBERT YES MACCA NO. MACCA IS TOO SLOW AND DOESNT WIN HEADERS. WHITE UPFRONT. WES IN MIDDLE BAKER SUB CADDY ON RIGHT COOKE ON LEFT. THEN IF THEY DONT PLAY WELL DROP THEM, IT LETS THEM KNOW THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE TO REPLACE THEM. WE COULD PICK LADS OFF THE STREETS TO PERFORM BETTER THAN WE DID ON FRIDAY, IT WAS A SHAMBLES.

Herbert has not had a chance yet and i am another who thinks he should. But he came on against TNS and never done much right and same again on friday night, maybe he is fed up of being sub and has lost confidance by not getting picked. I think we should use him as a goalscorer instead of a target man he seems to get in the right possitions in and around the box but doesnt get the service. White looks like a player now and Wes will win us games with his passing.

Baker sub? oh dear oh dear........

And what i said was a Melia type player.. ie not 2 big men upfront, especially when our crossing is not great.

over 35 replies for a defeat and probably only the second poor league performance of the season. Only 11 replies for beating a team that was in the Champions League this season... says a lot really.

Be interesting to know what people's expectations are this year. As a previous post said we were left with no players and written off without so much as a hope of avoiding relegation. The new management has come in, addressed it in a short time and we are playing some good stuff - bit up and down. Someone said about scoring goals, we have scored more than most in the league (only 5 scored more) its the other end we have trouble, and thats not just down to the back 4.

I think its time some people started getting behind the lads - each and every one of them. By all means complain, but lets keep things in perspective and think where we could have been by now. Bet Caersws would swap with us;-)

I THINK YOU SHOULD TAKE A LOOK AT WHERE THE GOALS HAVE COME FROM MR RICHARDSON, BUNGLE IS OUR TOP SCORER WITH 4 AND BETWEEN MACCA AND WHITE THEY HAVE 4 ALL TOGETHER. HERBERT 1 GOAL IN 2 STARTS WORTH A LOOK AT. DEFENDING STARTS FROM THE FRONT 2 AND IT IS NOT HAPPENING, THE AMOUNT OF TIMES IVE SEEN TEAMS PLAY OUT FROM THE BACK AGAINST US IS BAD. WINGERS IS THE OTHER PROBLEM THEY DONT SEEM TO HAVE A FOOTBALL BRAIN.

Capitals hurt the eyes.....!

point is we are still scoring. Yes the strikers should wiegh in with more but are they getting the right service? If so then make changes.. if not then work on midfield!
