Nice to see some Rhyl fans coming to see a decent football side for a change,and i'm not talking about The New Saints.Surely after watching the nomads without their blinkered vision they will realise that they have been supporting the wrong side for years.Nomads 4 EUROPE.

craigy , it would be good to meet some of you Rhyl lads, but I can't make this one unfortunatlly.
Having come up via Newtown for the New Year and missed the CQN v Newtown, and CQN v Rhyl games due to postponements, I had to stay on an extra couple of days to take in the CQN v Haverfordwest game. I will probably come up later in the season when we have 2 homes games in 3 or 4 days, hopefully including the Rhyl game. Otherwise Port Talbot away will be my next game.

2-1 and 2-0 come to mind rmb. Oh and 3 successive Euro trips, League title, 2 Welsh Cups, League Cup, Premier Cup final and best ground and best supported club for the past 4 seasons.

I'm happy I've made the right choice:-D

To be fair Craigy the ball was there to be won and after watching Hutchy play a couple of hundred times, I think I'm in a good posistion to say Hutchy is not the type of player/person to deliberately try to 'brake' an opponents leg. From where I was standing it looked like he got the ball and either caught Naylor with his trailing leg or it was just the force of strong tackle between two commited players.
I hope the TNS player is ok, I did hear somebody say he'd been taken to hosplital with suspected ligament damage.

Having just watched the game on telly and being at game i really now do believe that Craigyboy knows nothing about football.To say Hutchy deliberately tried to break another players leg is pathetic.As you can see on the replay Hutchy goes into the tackle with his legs spread and it was the opposing players leg that caught his.Please get your facts right.

That'd be legs spread nowhere near the ball then!

Hi all, went the game today,it was a entertaining game........pitch was,nt the best, but both sides played well.......Connah,s having the best chances, and should of took all 3 points . T.N.S Supporters would say different......Hutch and Craig Garside having great games in the middle of the park, and a great performance all round from the rest of the lads, i agree with C Q Exile .....Gary Pinch was outstanding today ,and my vote would go to him for Man of the Match........(can any 1 remember Smithy having a shot 2 save)...MMMMMMMMM apart from the 1 they missed on the stroke of half time...AS FOR THE YELLOW CARDS.....i think we made about 6 tackles on the day ,and were yellow carded for 3.......REF was poor,and i think a secret T.N.S. Supporter.LMAO..........But hey a point gained and 2 lossed today.......:-)

That is libellous nonsense. Anyone who saw the match on S4C will have seen both players flying in for a 50/50 ball, and Naylor was unlucky. Hutchinson was in the thick of things all afternoon, ending up as he did with a head wound. TNS are a physically strong and imposing side, with some well built players but Nomads' midfield and defence showed that they are vulnerable if they are challenged for every ball and not given time to pose around.

I totaly agree blaen, I have watched the TV replay a few times and I still can't see anything more than two players going for a 50/50 ball and the strongest one winning it. This is what Glyn (probably the most loyal and knowledgable TNS fan) had to say on the TNS website in his after match write up:-

Nayls 6. doing ok until the injury. Have to admit I thought Nayls went in studs first and with evil intent, so much so that I'd grimaced and looked away by the time the Quay lad got him.

Nice to see some honesty!

Sad to say, Naylor will be out for 6 to 8 weeks with possible medial knee ligament damage. I hope his recovery goes well.

I too hope Naylor makes a speedy recovery. TNS are a game side and they deserve their success for Mr Harris having had the b*lls to put his money up to take then full time. Any news of their new ground yet?
