Bad news I'm afraid!! Both Chris Williams and Adam Dickinson are going to be miss the game. Due to cumulated bookings (Dicko got one on Saturday) both have bee suspended for 1 match and with no game this week, that means the Rhyl game.

Can't we arrange a friendly against Fflint?

I asked Nev about this, he said that the pitches are in too bad a state and it isn't worth risking further injuries. He thinks Tuesday and Thursday training will keep the lads in good shape whilst allowing them to fully recover from their recent knocks and bumps,

Pitman, how come your contributions to the Rhyl site about how good Rhyl really are, are so sensible and a realistically moderating influence, and yet you talk such rubbish on here. You have as much chance of beating us 6-0, as as we had of losing at Llanelli 6-0. The most common cause for talking gibberish is anxiety, so now we know your worried.

Sorry wivey,your right,its going to be a close game,but with you losing 2 influential players it will be tough for you,i think it will be 1 or 2 goals in it but Rhyl will win,at Flint it could be a draw maybe you might sneak a win,we are not playing well at the moment but we will always score goals,its the defence and the goalkeeper i worry about,Boxing Day 2-1 to us,then 1-1 at Flint and it all depends who the officials are.

Hi Pitman, welcome back to the site. Like you, I think both games will be tight, especially after Rhyl dropping a couple of points at Caersws. Most people, including Rhyl fans, have greater expectations of Rhyl than of Nomads and other clubs seem to know little about our players. It's useful being underdogs and relatively unknown sometimes.

We have ready-made seamless replacements for Dicko and Williams, just like when Limbo, Mutton, Dicko and Williams have been unavailable at times over the past 6 weeks, and we still won! Our dressing room atmosphere is second to none and our players go out believing that they can win every game. They always give 100% over the full 90 min's and never know when they are beaten.

Just for the record, we have only lost 1 away game to TNS. We beat Airbus Cwmbran and Carmarthen and drew at Haverford, Druids, Aber and Llanelli. A point or three from you would be no surprise to us.

Murtagh will miss the boxing day game so that will even things out a little on the suspensions front.

Before the Caersws result I would have settled for 7 out of 9 points over xmas. Now its got to be 9

Nomads players are under strict instructions not to stuff Turkeys until Boxing day, this year!

What was the game like. How did we do?

It was a good game,Rhyl desreved there 3 points could have been a bigger margin,Nomads came into the game second half but they weren't a threat,you certainly missed Dickenson,Mutton was off form today and Smith had a great game in goal but should of been booked for play acting,tried to get Hunt sent off,I thought the ref had a decent game,overall it was a good game to watch,there was 1 idiot from the Nomads supportes who was looking for trouble with his constant abusing and threatening behaviour to some of the Rhyl fans,should of been thrown out,look forward to New Years day game where i think it will be even tougher for Rhyl.Rhyl forever.

As a spectacle it was much better than the violent affair in the League Cup, but the pitch at Rhyl is a bit of a mess at the moment, making it difficult to play decent football.

Thought we deserved the win. Created the better chances and at 1-1 were the team that wanted to win the match. To be honest I thought the Quay only really threatened from set pieces where you caused us a few moments of panic.
Good to see 30 or 40 down from Deeside. I think you can expect considerably more down from Rhyl on New Years Day.

:oD Wivey, just been reading this thread, you sound like a very good Nomads supporter, until, you had to ask how the game went ?

Certainly you can Talk the Talk but obviously can`t Walk the Walk.

Unlike our very own pitman who not only can boast a good post, he can also back this up by watching the game too.

DaveWalker, walking the walk to Rhyl, is a long walk from Somerset where I live, as most of our fans already know.

I have done 5 South Wales away games, so far this season. How about you Dave? I hope you devote as much of your free time to Rhyl, as I do to Nomads in running this website.

Thanks Dave Walker for the kind post about me,I only say what I see and if its criticsm towards the team they will get it and vice versa,as for wivey I think your doing an excellent job on here and may you keep it up,without guys like you then there would be nothing like this.Rhyl forever.

Cheers! Pitman 1, I've always admired the honesty of your posts, both on the Rhyl site and on here. BVB and Craigyboy seem to be decent guys who know their football and give credit when it's due, as well. So supporting Rhyl is obviously not a critical affliction!!!

Nothing wrong with a bit of banter and passion about our respective clubs, as long as it doesn't become personally abusive.
