Scotland Draw Wales In World Cup Qualifiers
Coach McCormack Scotland have been drawn to play against Wales in the Rugby League World Cup Qualifiers. They will also face a qualifier from the current Euro B tournament.
Scotland will be in European World Cup Qualifiying Group A alongside Wales and the winners of the European Qualifying tournament currently being played between Georgia, Serbia, Holland and Russia.

Georgia beat Serbia 45-10 in Belgrade last Friday night, following Russia's win over Holland in the group opener. Georgia host Holland next in Tblisi on 26 May. They home and away group ends in July, so Scotland will know their opponents well before the main European groups kick off in October. Scotland will play Wales and the other qualifier home and away with the tournament ending in Autumn 2007.

Ireland and Lebanon await the Euro B runner-up in European Wporld Cup Qualifying Group B. The winners of Groups A and B will qualify for the World Cup in Australia in October 2008 while the runners-up will play-off with the third-placed team from the Pacific Group (Samoa, Tonga, Fiji etc) and the winners of the Atlantic group (USA, Japan etc) with the winners going through to Australia.
