With the B side all ready in the final after beating Trentside the A side joined them by beating Ticknall in the other semi final.
U15's semi final - A side v Ticknall
The under 15s A side entertained Ticknall nin the semi final of the cup. On a wet and windy night in the ParkLullington won the toss and asked Ticknall to bat. The Parks side got of to a dream start , Bret Byrd bowling the dangerous Paul Borrington with the first ball of the game. Some good, tight bowling by the parks youngsters, with Sam Eaton 4-19 particually impressive,
restricted Ticknall to just 91, with only young Jamie North 23 putting up any restriction.
The Parks reply started with a steady fall of wickets but captain Richard Green 40 n.o. held the innings together and when joined by Robbie Beddard scampered the winning runs with one over to spare. A excellent result in what was a very entertaining game, full credit to both sides who played in such bad conditions.
U15's final - A side v B side
The A side went over 200 in posting a very impressive score which the B side never really got near as they fell short. The A side ended a very good season by winning the league and cup double. Well played both sides on a successful season.
Hopefully more details will follow on the final, Pete didn't get that email.
