Official Lullington Park CC
John Taylor lose in final at Headingley
A summary of the final of the U13's school final played at Headingley, by Keith Poynton.

Whitgift School (Surrey) 169 for 9 off 35 overs (Full time professional coaches Neil Kendrick, former Surrey & Glamorgan left arm spinner and David Ward who played for Surrey for 14 years in the 80's and 90's).

JTHS (Barton under Needwood) 151 for 7 off 35 overs (Part time coach Mr Duncan Ferguson, history teacher).

Contribution by Lullington Players.
No 1 - Luke Carthy 51 runs (highest score of the day)
No 2 - Sam Eaton 13 runs (1 wicket)
No 3 - Tom Poynton 5 runs
No 5 - Brett Bryd 23 runs (1 wicket)
No 7 - Rob Beddard 20 runs (1 wicket)

4 run outs of which Brett got two assisted by TP (some great fielding by the JTHS lads)

Lullington's contribution 112 runs out of 151 (extras were 20 +) and 3 wickets out of 9

Not a bad contribution from the "Lullington Boys"
