Byrds feat came after Lullington had posted a very impressive 169 in their 20 overs. In his 1st over, the second of Ticknalls reply the first two balls were both wickets to give him a chance of a hat trick. The 3rd ball of the over was survived and then the last 3 balls of the over were all wickets to give him his hat trick and 5 in the over.

After going for 5 overthrows in his second over and not taking a wicket he was taken out of the attack and he ended up with the awesome figures of 5-5. The tail end of Ticknalls order wagged to get them over 50 to 60 but the result was never in doubt.

Now we travel to St Helens, just like last year on the 22nd July to play in the north regional final against 3 other teams hoping to follow the girls lead into the national final.
