On Monday night the under 15s entertained Rolls Royce in the 1st round of the Portman Building Society National Cup.
On winning the toss the Parks youngsters elected to bat. Dispite the early loss of David Stock-11, the Parks side rattled up a total of 147 thanks mainly to Paul Dawson 60no, who batted through the innings and Richard Green 46.
Rolls Royces reply was just as rapid until the introduction of James Allen 3-16 and Richard Green 2-21 restricted the Derby side to 110 all out.
Agood win against probably the best bowling attack we have faced for some time. The next round sees the Parks youngsters entertain the highly rated Stavely side on a date to be arranged.
