An exciting but low scoring game of cricket took place on Monday evening at Lullington. Batting in pairs, the first pair of Tom Caron and Joe Cain lost their wicket three times to end on - 1. Charlie Veale and Tom Oliver got us back into credit scoring 22 runs for the loss of 2 wickets. The most productive partnership was between Jamie Goodwin and George Hodson Walker who hit three 4's to end on plus 6. The last pair of Lee Bingham and Anthony Norris lost three wickets to end on minus 17 to leave the total score, having started on 100 at 93.
In reply Lullington bowled and fielded superbly taking in all nine wickets to leave Elvaston 9 runs short of our total. A tremendous performance to drag back a poor batting display.
