A good performance from a young side against a strong Swarkie side consisting of several district players. Batting first Swarkestone were soon in trouble losing Both Rich Corner and the dangerous Zac Callaghan to the bowling of Rob Hodson Walker. Danny O Conner batted solidly for a long period to stabilise the situation leaving the visitors on 69 for 7 when the overs ran out.
In reply Lullington lost the captain Ben Young in the first over, however everybody then contributed to take the home side to a comfortable victory, with Rob Hodson Walker top scoring with 13 to go with his 3 wickets.
An outstanding performance in the field with accurate bowling gives lots of confidence for the future.
