What a miserable cold day, with several interuptions for rain. Paul Chapman won the toss & elected to bat, Williamson started well and showed he his still a class player scoring 51 with a sound contribution from Steve Hollis of 37, Lullington pegged the scoring back well until Liam Chapman excellerated the scoring for Quarndon to finish on 163. Paul Dawson making his debut bowled superbly to take 4 for 53, with a sound performance from the 3 seamers.
In reply in even worse conditions Lullington performed poorly and struggled to 88 when time was called with only John Goodwin reaching 30
Most amusing moment on a dull day Bodie that friend of Doyle doing a forward flip with pike over the fence leaving the rest of the team unable to field for 3 overs
