Saturday sees the first team travel to Shipley Hall in a game which will be a good indicator for the rest of the season. Shipley should be challenging for the title this year and although they have lost Harry Sodhi (one of the leagues players of the season) they have replaced him with a supposedly sharp opening bowler. As long as the whether holds out it should be a good game.
The seconds after there narrow defeat last year are at home to Quarndon 2nds, which will be another tough game. Quarndon 2nds are again another team that have been in the same division as our firsts in the last 5 years.
The 3rds travel to Rosehill Meths looking for there first win after only just falling short of there target last week.
Sunday sees an all South Derbyshire affair with all four games being derby's. The firsts face newly promoted Ticknall at home. With a good young side (Ryan Cowley and Luke Harvey especially) it should be a good game and they will be looking to improve after a dissapointing result last week.
The 2nds also have a short trip to take on Etwall 1sts. Etwall are one of the few teams in this league with an overseas, althoughI don't think he is being paid.
The thirds are playing Etwall 2nds at Lullington while the fourths round off the South Deryshire theme by treavelling to Ticknall to face there 3rds.
