After a long season it came to the final weekend with the firsts still in with a shout of promotion to division 2 but with 2 hard games against Stainsby Hall and South Wingfield. The seconds went into the final weekend hoping for a morale boosting win having already been condemned to life in 6 North for next season. They faced South Wingfield at Sharley Park before making the short trip to Wingerworth to face Whitmoor RC on the final day. The thirds were due to be in action against New Ram at Sharley Park on Sunday but the game had to be conceded as the firsts were also at home meaning the ground was unavailable.
In the end the firsts fell just short as another poor batting display cost them at Stainsby Hall as they lost by 8 wickets but they bounced back to record a good 27 point win over South Wingfield on Sunday which although it was not enough to claim 2nd place it gave a good end to what overall has been a fairly successful season in 3 North. The seconds couldn't claim that morale boosting win as they slumped to a heavy defeat against a South Wingfield side battling for promotion and then another loss at Whitmoor RC.
