The weather was slightly better but this didn't help the 2nd team as their trip to Middleton became an early casualty of the weather and was called off on Friday despite attempts from Parkin to try and get the game played. This left the 1st team to play Wirksworth at Sharley Park on Saturday and the 3rds to travel to Newstead A&V in the Mansfield League the following day. As it turned out it was a profitable weekend as the 1sts knocked off Wirksworths score and the 3rds recorded their second 100+ run victory of the season which even saw Parkin and Sullivan in the runs!!
