Clay Cross v Hallam A - Wednesday 7 May 2003

Hallam batted first, adding 92 runs to the starting 200 and losing 4 wickets to give a final total of 260. 

For Clay Cross the highlights were:
A fine catch by Jordan Lemon off the bowling of Garry Robson
A caught and bowled by Kieron Marsh
Two run outs -- one from wicket-keeper Ben Radcliffe and one from Kieron Marsh
Some excellent ground fielding by the whole team with particular mention given to Jordan Crowder, Adam Warwick and Jordan Lemon

Clay Cross openers Kieron Marsh and Jamie Kevern found it difficult against some good bowling and lost 3 wickets. Adam Warwick and Garry Robson also found runs hard to come by. Ben Radcliffe hit a few good shots and received good support from partner Luke Riggott. Jordan Crowder was unable to bat at the end due to illness leaving Jordan Lemon to show his potential in the final few overs as the innings closed on 36 for 7, giving a final total of 180.

Despite losing by 80 runs the team once again displayed a tremendous attitude throughout the match.
