Game is confirmed away to Chester-le-Street in the 4th Teams Shield ko 2.15pm.

Chester-le-Street change at a local sports pavillion near to the club. We need to go to the club and they will direct us from there.

Neil playing golf on sAt morning so what times the meet time ?

Whens the team getting listed realy looking forward to this games as we have been building up to this for weeks, struggling with abit of a back injury at the moment but hopefully should pass alate fitness test on sat.

iF i don't i will there to cheer the lads onto the semi finals.

Realy been enjoying the seconds, to think i was so close to backing it in for good at xmas with the neck injury i picked up and it realy would have been for good this time.

But playing seconds has made me enjoy playing again, i think we have a good squad with the golden oldies that are now playing , which should bring the youth on with in the team.

Come on the seconds !!!!!!

Got to agree with Captain C there. He's an inspiration to the 2nd team and will be a key player if we're going to progress in the cup this year.

I can't believe Captain C's abandoning the 2nds for another comeback on the 1st Team. Now I know why they call him 'Sinatra'.

Mike they can't name the team yet because they have to wait and see if Sinatra has played his way to a comeback on the 1st team again after his stunning performance in front of the selectors on Saturday.

why do we have to wait to see to see what one player is doing before we
can see the team sheet.I always thought there were 15 men on the field.
players need to know asap so they can sort out what they are doing for the weekend.If the selectors have considered asking ian to play again at
1st team level then it shows that there is a large portion of players who
get team places every week and dont perform.That is why the 2nd team
loses more than we win.

There could be various reasons why the sides cannot be named before now i.e players having niggling injuries etc...

I don't know whether the rumours about Ian are true or not but it would be a massive blow for us on Saturday if he is playing 1sts

I would tend to agree Cassy, if Ian is the only concern, the squad could be named with an extra covering player.

However selection, as I am all too aware, is always an emotive subject and you can never please everyone.

im not at training due to my workd but DJ will be there..see you all Saterday playing or not i will be there .

Seems there could be a little skullduggery as some one posting as cassy(a seaton player ) is enquiring about training on the Tech website. Trouble in the ranks?????????????

there is no trouble in the ranks.I was asking when they train because it is
easier for myself and son to train on a thursday , as i cannot atend the seaton club due to work commitments.
unfortunately there is no gossip how sad.

Sorry to have to report that I'm out of Saturday's game. I've torn the quads in my right leg. I probably won't be able to drive either so if anyone has a spare seat I'd appreciate a lift.

Well lads looking from the teams that have been selected looks like your going into the game with out me on sat.
