Hey people, any ideas of now you can entertain yourself during a boring day at work?? Boss man isnt in yet, so im just fiddling around sorting papers and running through old work. It isnt fun, and i can see myself becoming bored pretty quickly. Also after this weekends weather i have an announcement to make:

"It brings me great pain to make this announcement. After this weekends atroscious weather and playing conditions, I Bart Starr will be hanging up my rugby boots when it is raining. I ventured on a lone battle on saturday afternoon against the opposition and the conditions. I attempted to play without fear running the ball whenever it was on, however the weather and lack of skill of the players surrounding me meant this was not possible. That is why i feel the time has come for me to retire my shirt number and hang up my boots until the weather is better. Thank you for taking this time to listen."

Thanks TO, it means a lot to get respect from a fellow rare talent. The ability to play heads up rugby without fear in this country is hugely lacking. We are taught to play like robots from grass routes levels. Why dont more players aim for the sky? Why dont players want to set the rugby world alight and dazzle spectators and opposition with their creative freedom? Me and TO are fighting what seems to be a loosing battle in the English game. Lets bring fun and imagination back into English rugby, lets give the English game a new image now we are into a new millenium. The French are known for their flair, the All Blacks are known for their precision and power, the Aussies have some deft ball players with tremendous skill and the will to win, Wales have their own running style of attacking rugby, England have their 'big forwards'. It is time this image is changed.

speaking to nick at work, he was in the pub yesterday and this girl brought up how her friend got hit in the vestry on new year, apparenlt his face is a mess, nose messed up and black eyes

Thats a shame, does Nick know what happened? Well it seems to me that the moral or the story is 'dont chuck peanuts at random people thinking its funny'

Just chatting with the boss about the weekends rugby results. He's happy there was a win down at Hampshire Avenue, he was down there watching it wasnt he. Told him i was bordering on being spectacular but my adventurous side was pegged back and the result didnt go our way. You got much work on today? Hopefully my job interview will last for ages and i'll have the afternoon off.

just doing what i have to do for the next 4 weeks, brilliant. sat is finally cayching up on me, im so tired, might just hide under my desk and sleep.

I know the feeling, im knackered too. I set the alarm on snooze at 7.30 and woke up at 8.15 as im still tired. I want to work for a company that has napping rooms at work. Id work so much better if i could now pop off for a 40 min kip. id wake up dribbling and sweating and walk back to my desk feeling so much better.
Ive always been parial to Quins myself, plus my good mate Danny Care plays there and Ollie Kohn and hopefully DG will be there soon 2. Might look into buying a house in Richmond. Then when Ant leaves the army in April. Me, you and him can all move in there.

Mate how much rent do you pay a month now? I found a 3 bedroom in Richmond for £398 each pcm. Thats pretty good id say. Easy access to Quins, central London and Chi. Happy times. Im seriously thinking about Richmond.

OK well im going to rule out a straight drive to sweden. If we boated it over to France and drove we would have to go through France, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Finland and then into north Sweden. So basically we arent doing that unless we have a spare month and want to die.

I suggest we boat to France, drive through Belgium, Netherlands (where we pick up Hanks family) into Germany, up into Denmark then we can get a short boat trip to Malmo south Sweden. Which as it happens, isnt exactly a million miles away from Gothenburg! (goteborg).

Paris to Copenhagen Denmark is 642 miles. So its similar to us driving down through France into Spain. Although im not sure the roads will be as quick as France has the main roads heading straight down. Might be looking at a 16 hour drive???

France Belgium Hankland Germany Denmark - cor there's some teams. tahts awesoem spread it over a couple/3 days.

I'll look for some more details. Im not sure if Hank could afford it. I mean he's only just got back from Oktoberfest. That man can sure booze when he wants to. It also depends on our vehicle of travel. If we go in car, Hank cant come he's too big. If we go in a mini bus, again Hanks too big. However if we get a bus, and Hank has been back to work since Oktoberfest, then he can come.

I think if we book around now flying to sweden will be dirt cheap. But it will take away the fun of driving. We will have to look at our asess our options. Im looking into flights for July?? June??
