Interesting!

But reading deeper, its not just peanut butter, its any carbonised material that theoretically could be used to make diamonds. So us!

Whilst I've been away over the last few weeks, the welfare of the humble sesame seed has been much discussed. So I decided on a fine Friday afternoon that I must satisfy my curiosity.

Quite simply put, if we allowed the sesame seed to grow then it would turn into a sesame plant. And that's it really, nobody wants the plant, it's all about the seed. I wonder if this gives the plants a complex about not being wanted or appreciated? Or do the owners big them up in order to make them produce more?
Hhmm, more questions than answers.....

Would sesame seeds help in this regard?

Lauren, I think you make a good point about sesame seeds. But thinking about it, it means that all plants may be feeling neglected if we only eat their fruit.

Perhaps carnivorism is the way forward?

No! You're not meant to be making them all flushed! It's all about the love! As anyone that has ever met Lil( sadly deceased for this very reason) you'll know that he was very responsive to some gentle encouragement and every now and then have his leaves washed and generally patted. And my grass as well. It was getting proper lovely at the beginning of summer, then I went away and it got all wild. So much so that when my brother put the flymo on it, the grass went and broke it! Had I been here to tend it, surely it would have been nice and quite happy to have it's regular haircut...
Now i think on both those counts, it's fair to say that the plant world does have feelings! ( And fish.. don't get me started on that. If I remind myself I won't be able to look another piece of fish in the eye again!)

FACT: The tallest snowman ever made measured 34.63 metres tall. It took 14 days to build, finally being completed on 17 February 1999. Nicknamed Angus, he had vehicle tyres for his mouth and trees for arms.
