I believe you need something called "planning permission". It stops stupid people building what they like, where they like.

As for the clubhouse - the changing rooms aren't that bad, I've seen worse. Perhaps they just become "tight" when you go in them...

;-)

Proper Charlie, if you have nothing good to say then don't say anything. Plus, who are you? My punctuation and spelling is really quite good - if it does not appear to be correct it's because I have been careless in typing. The point I'm making is that they are spending 1.5 million on a load of trees and new flooring which is a load of bull when they are asking for volunteers at the train station.

Do you want a full essay on that?

Hi Luke,

No thanks, not a full essay :)

Maybe you should just slow down a bit when you're typing a rant.

As gitboots said, this probably isn't the forum for your issues, but when applying to build something you have to go through the proper channels - and that is not the fault of the council or government. Imagine what it would be like if anybody could build what they wanted wherever they wanted?

I would guess that it will also take time to sort out the land-swap with the Water company - after all, it all has to be drawn up legally.

Anyway, let's just look forward till when it all goes ahead, and until then we'll have to make do with our "Shed" ;)
