Starting before that date earlier or earlier in terms of start time Dave?

I'm presuming the 8:30 start is for seniors and the juniors will be on for an hour starting at half 7 as usual.

I dont think there is an issue about starting at the end of Jan, 3 months indoor is plenty long enough. For the ammount of seniors who actually turn up anyway to winter nets it would probably make no odds if we started at the start of April.

Last couple of seasons its been a decent turn out to nets and to be honest i'm not sure that we need to start any earlier.....its long enough with nets from end of Jan through to the season starting at the end of April and then games, netting etc from then til the middle of Sept!!

Also from what i've heard from talking to people a lot of clubs are only just starting to net in the last few couple of weeks and i bet there are plenty still to start as well. Is it that big an issue?! Doesnt appear to have hampered much over the last few seasons!! Maybe our freshness from starting nets later is what has season us doing so well....all the other teams are knackered!!

well i find batting on a rock hard gym floor always stands me in good stead for the caribean wickets in april.;-)
