Sunil has advised that he does not wish to be captain this year but wishes to remain as a player. Thinking caps on for Thursday chaps.

while on the subject of captains, greenie has said he too does not want to captain 2nd team, and with him not being able to make agm, we also need to think about a 2nd team capt as well. im sure u will put me right greenie if anything has changed.

I vote we make a hat the captain, everyone's name into a hat and draw them out for batting order, then draw a name not for a bowler before every over, bowler sets field!

Thanks for such a good turnout & for some "interesting" debates. As an update on one of the major issues, Richard has found someone who can adapt the wicket mower to enable us to cut a strip & has also sourced a ride on mower to clear grass cuttings which we are hopeful of purchasing shortly at a reasonable price. Hopefully this one wont sit in the store unused until it rusts away from missuse like the last one. Volunteers for tractor rides will be needed from April.
The new Constitution will now be adapted as agreed as nobody has made any suggestions to change it.
