apologies I am working that night so will not be able to make it

a few things I'd like to bring to the discussion though, obviously I'm not too keen on being captain of the 2nds again (and don't think people would want me to anyway) and if it's not to late to enter I think we should seriously consider entering a team into the bottom division of the Mansfield League on Sundays, this would give regular sunday cricket - more opportunities for the bar to make money and the opportunity to let juniors have important roles to play in senior cricket, especially if they aren't getting to do much on the Saturday - I would be happy to run any Sunday League side and think if we had a core of 6 or 7 young lads and a few old uns we should be able to put a side out every week - you can also ask the Mansfield League to keep some weekends blank so double headers and cup weekends shouldn't be a problem. It would also be an opportunity for those who don't bat much on Saturdays to have a go up the order and for occassional bowlers to have a chuck

Suspect we might be too late Planty & we will need to have some non league games again next year but will look into it.

tells you how to apply on their website - think it's a call to Goff Kerry

think club needs to discuss it first though

The Mansfield League has changed a lot since Cross were last in it, there are now more Derbyshire sides in it and a lot of teams use it for what we would be using it for

Was this the proper darts or the pub team players currently being shown on the BBC?

Re: AGM

Pub darts and the standard of some of the play was shocking

however the venue for the BBC one is much better and people are there to watch the darts and pay attention

the Sky darts is much better standard wise (well the top players are anyway) but the venue is massive and those there are more interested in singing and getting on telly than actually watching what's going off

So the pimple brained simpletons lurking behind Superchav Bling Boy Bobby George waving bits of paper that nobody can read aren't attention seekers then?
