Hi

My name is Arwyn Morgan.

Overseas :Wales

I am a right handed fast bowler (compared to Paul Lemon) and a devastating right handed batsman. I was offered a 2 year contract with Guinness CC out in Dublin but had to turn it down. Played 5 years in the Welsh outback where I was a major league player.

Have now recoverd from a serious shoulder injury and am back to Bob Evans pace.

I will travel up for free from Wales as long as you supply me with free beer and a curry afterwards.

My best figures are:

Batting: 11 not out. Would have been more but Steve Eyre lost/threw away his wicket.

Bowling 2- 65. Would have been 2-50 but they always took an extra two runs on Parkin's throw from the boundary.

Fielding: 2 catches with 5 claps on one.

More information if required on request.

Arwyn
You would always be first choice as overseas player but your deportation for sheep misdemeanors are unlikely to let you back into the country. If you do make it back you can play as Mark Healy.
Typical overseas though. You have definitely overplayed your cricketing acheivments. Performances at Thursday night practice do not count.

Pleased to announce that Eranga Gangoda has had his appeal for a Visa accepted & that he should arrive on 20 April. This has been a long drawn out process but thanks to Ramesh for all his help. No doubt you will all wish to welcome him when he arrives.
You will be kept in touch of progress on this & another piece of exiting news which is developing.

Latest news is that Eranga hopes to be here Thurs Fri but have to say that this is unlikely at present.
Update on shirtds is that they have arrived, Club Badge been applied & they are going to printers for sponsorship logos to be applied so we should have them by Friday for distribution Saturday.

Unfortunately Eranga will not be here for this weekend. Rich has spoken to him (scarey) & he should arrive on May 5.

We have now heard from Eranga that he is arriving at Manchester on Friday at 7.00 am. Don't worry the lift is sorted so you can still get your much needed beauty sleep. Volcano allowing therefore he will be available Saturday & Sunday.

He will be here, he is more than a little keen to play & is especially chuffed that there are 2 games this weekend. Suspect he may be a little less impressed with the weather. Temperature here at present is 9C in Sri Lanka it is 30C.
Seriously could we try & dig out some jumpers for him pending new ones.

Eranga has arrived & is being driven through the Hazel Grove traffic as I type. He will be given a scenic trip of the Peak District before coming to earth in Newton in about an hour.
