in my expert opinion 7 days is a little optimistic for a broken collar bone to heal.

Is he over 75? If so, send him to me . I will sort him out.

jord, think sunny must think u were in 2nds, im guessing thats y hes not got u. same goes for will too i guess. im sure greenie will speak to him and it will be sorted, dont worry.

I've texted Sunni and Greeny making them aware and Sunni phoned me to say he is in the process of sorting it. Suspect Sunni thought Greeny would want you both whilst Greeny thought you would still be with us....dont get to angry just yet!! ;-)

everything a bit back to front this week with suni little the 2nds have the pick of the players.

ordinarily would love to have both u and will with us. as it stands we are going with the same plan of stacking with bats again.

im lucky to get in this week but i know a man.

Whaatt?, soo am ii in 3rds again?

I suspect that Sunil thinks that you would prefer to definitely bat & bowl with thirds than possibly not in firsts & that you have already "served your time" fielding for the firsts the other week.

I would go along with that Chuff especially as Harry also had the pleasure of returning from holiday and having to step out in my dirty spare kit to field for us against Ticknall the other week as well!!

i dont really want to interfer with team selection, but with this being a very important week for the 2nd team, well all 3 teams, but mainly 2nd team, i think that as a club we need to make sure that the correct people play in the correct sides.
i see that will eyre is not in 1st team and jamie is. unless will doesnt want to play in 1sts or sunny wants to give jamie a taste of 1st team action, i think that maybe jamie would be better in 3rds, as he opens the batting for them. same with harry, unless harry is happy not bowling and batting around 8,9,10 i think harry again would be better in 3rds. jamie is a very good yound player, but im not sure he is ready for 1st team action yet.

i as much as anyone want to see these great young players come through and replace us old feckers and even older feckers next year, which im sure they will. harry, jamie, ryan and others will be playing most of their cricket in 2nds next year watever div we r in. brad, jordans, joe and jim will start 2 push for a 2nd team place as well, but for now im afraid its needs must.
im sure it will be sorted out thurs or even b4.

also surgest we start a list of who isnt available sunday.
