u15's presentation will be at the Pavillion on 26th July. We are having a dads/lads&lasses match, barbecue(weather permitted) and presentation after. This team is currently second in the league and hopefully may finish higher. Everyone welcome hope to see you all there.

dads v lads/lasses is a great idea and I reckon it'll be quite competitive!

date noted and I'll try and get to the ground for that (work permitting!)

Game at Clay Cross on 26th - not Apperknowle - probably on bottom ground if Kwik Cricket on.

Sounds good to us. Will attract some custom from welfare if nice weather. Friends of ours said that had they known about quiz on Friday they would have come across to pavillion instead of sitting in the welfare.

Will put word round next time we have a 'do'.

For things like the quiz maybe we need some sort of noticeboard outside the pavilion advertising them.

already had a tache text asking me to do bbq. have said yes if someone has a gas bbq. unless someone elase wants to do it.

from julies post and previous comments it appears we need to make a greater effort in contacting jnrs and families for do's and not so much the senior players.

will knock up a handout to give out to jnrs and get something up in the changing rooms.

There is a gas BBQ under the stairs in the pavilion. I am happy to dig it out on Thurs & see if it works. As a pen pusher however I will need some help.

Colonel Sanders helped get the BBQ from under the stairs & as well as being a health hazard from the state of it I also fear that it is an explosion risk & I'm not going anywhere near it if it is lit nor will I eat anything off it.
We are therefore again looking for a gas BBQ to loan on 26 June for the cup semi final & 26 July for the juniors end of season booze up. Can anyone help please???

Now confirmed that there will be a BBQ for the game on Friday. Bravo Fearnley Whitingstall will be donning his apron (No suspenders or stockings though) but please don't be shy & offers of help would be appreciated. The bar will be stocked after being emptied again this weekend.
New fund raising idea from Jenny Walker this weekend who has offered to collect all the Alluminium cans & weigh them in to provide funds for the club. Seperate recepticals have been provided for cans so please use them. Thanks Jenny.

Barbecue sorted will bring down to pavillion on wednesday, gas etc needs to be bought. Sausages, burgers, napkins & sauces all bought, will bring down on Friday. Can someone buy the bread for 40 burgers, 50 sausages. ( think bravo may be doing this). If you think we need more will fetch but not sure how many will be there at u15 game.
