just had an email from a Clowne player who was under the impression it was at our gaff

Please confirm with your Clowne contact that everything is set up their end!

Will have to be at Clowne as our ground won't be ready. Sounds a good farce though when our lot go to Clowne & their lot end up at the Cross.

game is defo at clowne, aiming 4 a 1pm start.

THERE IS NO TEAS PROVIDED NOW. however, we can use their mico-wave and oven if anybody wants to take summat with them and warm it up. there is also a fridge to use for keeping sarnies etc in till tea.

goodwin has kindly agreed to umpire.

they can't get the netting up round the ground which shields the houses and is a condition of the pitch being used

shame, u dam rite its a shame, a shame they couldnt be bothered to tell me b4 2 mins to eight last nite, or we might have been able to arrange something else - not very happy!!!

for five months clay cross couldn't get a single game arranged before the season, all this talks in your message board, playing in a higher division , but didnt manage to get a single pre season games for the players!

what more can i say,

was hoping to have a good game with all the seniors
