Oh & if he is like Robinho, just play him in your first game & then leave him out cos he will be useless thereafter

.... ghosting in from the left wing.

Last night was an excellent work-out. Both teams fluctuated between the traditional 1-1-1 formation and the more adventurous 0-0-3 when "tracking back" became a little more difficult.

ps .... the crossbar is still rattling!!

the problem is branno its always the same. replying with 'phone some people' doesnt really help if matt didnt have any numbers. if we all think 'i know i will phone so and so rather than just telling the poor sod who is trying to organise it to phone round himself.

the apathy at this club is pathetic. we could hire peak fm to advertise and we still wouldnt get a better turn out. look at the agm and club meetings if you want any proof. all are advertised. no body can be arsed except for the usual suspects.

probably a good thing we dont enter a league.

rant over.

im sure matt will learn from his mistakes of trying to something proactive and not make that mistake again.

So after you say "rant over" you carry on with the rant! Come on Cloughie, get over it. From little acorns ......

Well ask me for phone numbers and i'll give you what i have.....

I'd explained to Matt why me and Sul couldnt make it but that doesnt mean i wasnt bothered about going!! Also when someone mentioned Kipper hadnt got back i offered means of contacting him but no one took me up on them.

The issue with this football is that if more than one person does the organising you can end up with about 15 a side and its a complete farce. You need one person to coordinate it to make sure you can have a decent game.

At every club you will always get some that dont mind getting involved and the majority that want to turn up and play....and you need both for the club to keep going....

You can't get the arse on if people don't want to play football on a shite surface in a shite place in shite weather! I won't be attending many if any, so scratch my name off the list of attendees.

good thing the other 5 didnt have that attitude otherwise it would be an expensive evening for mr garner.

dont think matt wants to organise the next one and im not bothered anymore so dont know if there will be a list to take your name off.

just to put my oar in jb i knew yours & sulls situation so you not coming is not an issue but greenie is trying to make a valid point but its not worth an arguement unfortunately this is an issue that we will prob never get rid off, also bill cannot help being ill + fletch is back this week. i did not ask for numbers as i didnt want to put mine on public view & i thought other people would appreciate theres being put on here either. nearly finished now boys to mr green if you do sort out with mr else i will be there

Love & happiness to all xxxxxxx:-)

Matt...i'm sure if you'd needed numbers we could have sorted out getting them to you without shoving them on here.

Hopefully between us we can sort something and providing i can make it i will be there.

look is there really any need for the falling out? What's the point. If this had happend at sort notice and not everyone read the post. If it was organized and people said they would turn up and didn't then I could understand.

I think by the sounds of it it was a turn out for the short notice and was a good night. Just like to say well done to Matt for organising and doing his best it was a good idea and we willno doubt get more this week as more are in the no

Is it on this week?
