Just for info & for Bravo Ned Kelly. There is a fair chance that the new electronic scoreboard will be delivered on Friday morning & if we can work out how to use it it will make its debut for this game.

I know in Mansfield that the highlight of the week is when the bacon slicer is switched on in the Coop on a Monday morning which has thousands of them aggog.
Don't think we'll get that many but how many can we attract in the Cross to watch the scoreboard started up?

longshot I know, but does anyone have a laptop and mobile internet dongle thing?

that way we could use it and someones skyplayer membership to watch test up at ground

that or we need a decent radio with LW reception

and does C5 work on the telly for highlights at 7pm

I have a digital radio which I will bring which picks up Radio5 Sports Extra so reception is not a problem.

SkyPlayer struggles over a decent broadband connection and about 5 mins of viewing will take up most of anyones monthly data allowance so probably not a goer.

If chuff cant get his radio going then there is an old radio of mine on the window sill near the tv in the dressing room that has LW on it.

If someone wants to bring a camera tomorrow and take photos throughout the day we can add them to the site for posterity.

Is it worth getting the covers out and on the square tonight? Just a thought as it looks like most of the rain will be comming in the early hours of tonight! Only trouble is most of us will be up at Ekington watching the under 15's (if that is still on)!

good idea,it might be better to do it after u15 game as there would be less of a chance of them being disturbed by numpties also depends on numbers to help & who has got the keys?

A big thanks to everyone
Bravo Corporate Events for organising the whole thing including tea & ground preperations.
Matt Gold Coast for judging the amount of beer needed, arranging the bar from the brewery.
John Goodwin for standing in the rain all day.
Sulli for being a total bar steward & looking & sounding like a real landlord.
Everyone who played without moaning from both sides.
Anyone else who helped, drank & bantered.
A huge thanks to Jacko & the Collaroy Plateau tourists who stayed out in appalling weather & made cups of tea & helped with moving covers on & off & for their understanding of why things were as they were.
Apologies that we could'nt provide the planned Barby, beer tent & ice cream van. Weather stopped all that.
Only down side was the performance of our boat race team. All six of them will need to perform like stars on the field for the rest of the season to be offered contracts next year. Shame on you.

Thakns again for a great day.

There is always some people you forget to thank so. Thanks to Bil for his inspired choice of raffle prize & his donation of it to the club. (Any raffle prize that gives you a headache has to be a winner)
