Clay Cross Vs Colleroy Plateau CC

Just to let you know that Jacko from CPCC has contacted me to let me know they have booked deposits on their flights so the tour looks like a goer.

for those new to the club or with attention deficiency disorder CPCC are an Aussie side from Colleroy Plateau (your missus will have heard of it as its near where home and away is filmed) who are over for the ashes. great day lots of beer and a good bit of rivalry with our antipodean cousins (well great, great uncles who got caught thieving).

Jacko has suggested Friday July 17th for a match against the Cross.

Date and details to be confirmed however you have been given sufficient notice to start creeping and get your passes marked (branno).

i have already started swithing the tele off manually and not by remote as i start my fitness program.

On the basis that we will be able to replace Daz & Mr Miller in the boat race with Planty & Dave Clarke & we only lost by a redbacks spiders gooley last time I can safely say that Bruce holds no fears for us this time & I predict an easy victory.

Following the 'ordinary' day last time, you blokes are requested to get your act together...

Mr bravo..

-spell our name right, its COLLAROY Plateau CC
check out www.collaroyplateaucc.org.au
go to the forum and tell the new tourists a bunch of lies of how Clay Cross is the best town in England

-given Clay Cross reputation as importing its stars from notts, yorks and elsewhere we request only Derbyshire born players play on the day.Given the strength of derbys cricket this should ensure a CPCC victory.

Mr Jonb
-given your league commitments next day we require you to bowl off 3 steps.

Mr Gooders
-to enliven the post match proceedings we request you prepare a one hour lecture on the laws of cricket.

Mr Chief
given your connections in english cricket can you kindly arrange 20 tickets to the Lords test.

Mr Else
get your mum working on the chocolate cake.
buy,beg or steal another frig and get it full of cold beer.
talk and write in a language us aussies can understand.

Jacko

1) we gave you the bloody language a legal system and an electoral system so i will speel it the correct english way.

2) for your information Sunni is as English as they come, lives in Chesterfield and we even arranged a marriage for him to an English girl. My mother in law doent know yet but she liked the presents sure enough.

3) Jonb will be more concerned with his housekeeping commitments affecting his play rather than other sporting ones.

4) dont start on the cross otherwisde there will e a fatwa coming your way. you havent met planty yet have you?

5) Chiefs connections at lords are somewhat strained as his always refers to them as 'chinless wonders, southern ponces etc etc'

6) Mrs Else will need to be coaxed out of retirement as i am now the tea lady also. (yes the op was a success)

7) we now have two large coolers and a fridge. all chocolate and kiddy drinks will be replaced with beer. we will however leave in 1 bacardi breezer for any of your wives and girlfriends who may join you beacuse they are the rules
To quote the great british pub landlord Al Murray
These are the rules, beer for the men and fruit based drink for the ladies.

If we didnt have rules where would we be..........France
If we had too many rules where would we be.......Germany
And if we needed rules governing interfering with Kangaroos with our didgery doos..................................Australia.

8) so that your mates can understand.
looking forward to a ripper day ya mongrel.

Its amazing how easy it is to get the buggers to play in a Friday friendly & how difficult it is to get them to play a Sunday friendly

come on chief dont be silly as
