If the Council do what they say they are you will have to practice on the new ground, which means you can't use the nets.

Keep up Kipper. They are levelling the ground so allthough the artificial wicket will be Ok you will have to run up through 3 metres of topsoil. Having said that I suspect it will be alright this Thurs as they won't have finished preperation & moving soil from the new school by then.

Had confirmation that they have started the job as they want the Reliant Robin sightscreen moving to the other end of the ground.

Im currently having a part cobbled together for the screen which should fix it without having to get all the welding stuff down there!
Spoke to John Else yesterday and he said we might get in touch with the blokes who made them to fit the wheel properly as new to save fecking about in the future!

Part should be made by weekend but prob not be able to fit it until next week. I need to borrow a few of Mr Greenhalgh's tools so will fit it either next thurs or next saturday before we play!

If it dont work then its back to the drawing board!!
