Matlock 6 a side 2008
Posted by: GREABO (IP Logged)
Date: 18 June, 2008 14:08

All,

I am looking to enter a team from 'The Mighty Cross' in the annual Matlock 6 a side knockout on 17th August 2008.
Last year was a top day out and should be same again this year (hopefully might get a bit further than the group stages)!!

All are welcome to play although there is quite a bit of drinking involved (ask Bill how much of a mess he was in last year!!) throughout the day and into the night so juniors who cant handle there beer and seniors who are woman licked need to get a full day pass off parents and partners before expressing interest!!

If we get alot of interest i'm sure we could enter 2 teams!!

So far persons expressing interest are:

Me
Clarke
Bob
Chris "Hawaii 501" Plant
Zander
Elsey

Grez/ Tash:
Would the club be willing to pay the entrance fee? Last year it was £25!

Suggest you cancel your trip altogether then as thats now 3 games & a urination up you will miss. Do you want me top speak to Hannah & explain that you have asked me to speak to her as you are too scared to mention it. I, on the other hand, am stupid enough not to care.

PS
Please note I want the first verse of Leonard Cohen's "Bird on a Wire" on my headstone shortly after my discussions with Ms Watson have commenced.
