the problem is jord someone will need to supervise for them as they will basically be a team of juniors. Is it a school team or just a bunch of lads wanting a match.

no its an actual team where our teachers run it and also want to play themselves so it probably will be mainly kids with a few bolkes yo go with

ok jord 18th may and 31st august are free.

you need to confirm quickly though cos there are other teams interested. i'll leave it to your judgement but make sure they are serious before booking the date so we dont waste the slot.

team sheets are now up on the notice board in the tea room so get your names down for the matches you want to play.

Chief i expect you to play in all 5.

we also need a bar steward(s) for a couple of hours for each match whilst our team is fielding.

Just spoke to Planty and apparently an 11th man was needed to replace Greabo.

You are in the team apparently.

assume so.

will speak to you tomorrow but we need to organise a bar steward for the couple of hours whilst you are fielding.

has anyone volunteered for this on the sign up sheet?

if not you will have to call me and let me know when you need someone and i will pop up for a couple of hours.

Paul Lemon has volunteered to run the bar, and inspection last night revealed plenty of ale in fridge

they've even cut us a wicket!
