Oh & no smoking Planty. Bravo you may burst into flames.

FAO Chezzy based folk

I have got a quote for a 16 seater mini bus to take us to and from The Cross for this event

one pick up and one drop off (I would suggest Grouse in Brampton) will cost £50 so if we get enough will be less than a fiver each

would people be interested in this, means no one has to drive and we can all get a bit squiffy! Can those who look on here please ask around those that don't to see if there is enough interest for me to book it

Cheers

Planty

Slight change of plan. Now a buffet instead of pie & peas as a number of people had said they did not fancy pie & peas. We are looking for sponsors for another 4 of the races at £20 a head (we already have 3 signed up) Also need owners for horses at £2 per horse with 50% of total staked going to race winners.Let me know how many horses you want.

We are getting encouraging numbers for this event with the u13s alone buying 43 tickets & hopefully all 14 of the lads buying a horse for £2. We have room for 200 so please tell your captain how many tickets you need & ,if possible , paying for them. We still have one or two race sponsorships to sell & are still looking for some owners. Its only £2 & this gives you a chance to win some money. If you want to name the horse let a committee member know a chosen name for it otherwise I will pick it. If I pick it its bound to be an insult & "Plantys Flabby Saturday Night Conquest" is almost ws unthinkable as "Bravos Sequined Thong" so be warned.

Sorry Pukea can't promise any pies, but a sneaky trip over the road for a wheelbarrow kebab is always possible.
