Its been switched because of the Barbados game which was promised to them a year ago.You all got a newsletter Sat to explain the position & how important this was to the club. So far we have been inundated with almost one offer to work the bar for an hour or help tidy the placeup on Sunday morning. Be warned ,threatened, or whatever else you want to call it but if on Sunday the whole event is left to John Else & myself then .................. I know some will be playing & hopefully winning in the cup match but surely some can help in the morning & others give up an hour of their precious timein the afternoon to help raise some money for the club.
Being sad I counted 17 people wholooked at the bar rota & ignored it on Saturday. Rant over, frustration continues.

Thanks to everyone who came up yesterday & helped in all sorts of ways to make the event a success. Hopefully the free BBQ & rum punch were an unexpected & pleasurable payment.
PS
We have a few bottles of Barbadian Rum left over which are on sale at £10 per bottle.

Fairly certain its as described by Michael Carroll although Miller informs me the league site has us down as playing on Wednesday night!!

Unfortunately seeing as Bravo has not featured in previous games for the midwank league he isnt eligible for the final!!

The game I did for the 2nd round of the XXXX ended as a 20/20 game. Bowlers restricted to 4 overs maximum, so still require 5 bowlers. Batsmen hope they are seeing the ball well from the off, or a low score may result.
Best of luck guys, I may pop down for a look.

Yes I agree Jon!! However it may turn out to be a very shrewd move by the captain to include Twenty20 specialist Bravo, he is currently 10 to 1 at Ladbrokes to be the highest run scorer tonight...might be worth a few quid!!;-)
