one what ?????????

Re: Fielding

me too

if someone is born in Germany whilst their parents are working there and return to England aged 2 they are English, NOT German

by the same logic I am NOT a Yorkshireman - still not forgiven my parents for deciding to live there all those years ago

however, one advantage is that fit blonde lass behind bar in The Vic is 'from' the same town as me, so I have something to chat to her about!

planty = yorkie
branno = derby
simmo = yorkie
dent = somewhere down south

Now someone's calling me a Southerner. My minders are going to have a field day . Sorry boys but I am more Northern than you. I am a shaft of wit from over the Pennines

Just need crowder to ask where the penines are to finish this one off.

My apologies chief.:-!

always though Dent Snr was a Southerner

I suppose Lancastrian is just as bad

anyway, isn't this thread supposed to be about fielding?

Re: Fielding

If you call me a Lancastrian again this thread will be about fighting not fielding. My minders will be home from school in about 3 hours & you are so dead.

Cumbrian then (which is just a part of Lancashire anyway - except the people are just slightly more backward!)

Re: Fielding

Are you Charles Bronson or summat? Death Wish Planty calls me Cumbrian (which I'm not) then insults Cumbrians & still can't accept that he is a Scotsman with all the generosity taken out i.e a Yorkshireman
Kipper & Mackerel are on your case

Re: Fielding

sorry I'm just running out of places from 'over the pennines' as you put it

Northumbrian?

Re: Fielding

I'll get Kipper to give you a geography lesson before he beats you to a pulp. Northumbria is east of the Penines

Re: Fielding

I know

the pennines run from Edale to Scotland

if you are over the pennines from here you must be Lancastrian or Cumbrian

or perhaps you're part of the posh Cheshire set?

or a Scouser!

Re: Fielding

AT last he's almost right. Accusing me of being a scouser has got you another bruise & calling me posh means that I'll box your ears.

well Chester's full of scousers, Stockport is a hole full of wannabe mancs, ditto for Macc but rest of cheshire is full of lar di dar idiots isn't it?

Re: Fielding

I may be an idiot but am not lar di dar. Good to see you don't have any pre conceived ideas about where people are from you whippet walking ,flat capped, pigeon fancying, coal mining, beer swilling ,lard eating, outside toilet using Yorkshireman
