Checksy Chosen for Scottish Squad

By Dave Picken - March 7 2018
Checksy Chosen for Scottish Squad Liam Checksfield has been selected for the Scottish Under 20's development squad to take on Romania Under 20's this weekend ...

The West and Northumbria University winger  will be one of 24 up and coming players who will face the Romanians at Greenock Wanderers ground this Sunday with a Noon kick off.

It's great news for last season's top try scorer and we wish him the very best of luck.

Got to be honest and say I'd rather he was wearing a West shirt this week but really pleased for Liam and his family.

Delighted for Liam. It's great to see players coming through the West ranks and doing well at high levels.
Very impressed with Michael Young last week and being asked to captain Falcons was another honour for him.
In a similar vein what hass happened to Aaron Myers? Has he retired from rugby or is he working somewhere exotic?
