A Bridge Too Far

 

1. Boundaries.       

The Boundaries of the course are walls, fences and hedges surrounding it.

2. Ditches

Ditches to the left of the 1st hole, right of the 13th hole, left of the 16th and 17th fairways and right of the 17th tee box are deemed to be Lateral Water Hazards. The ball to be played in accordance with rule 26. Ditches in front of the 15th green and the 16th tee box and the pond to the left of the 18th fairway are deemed to be Water Hazards. The ball to be dropped behind the Water Hazard and played in accordance with rule 26-1b.

3. Wrong Fairway

Whilst playing the 5th hole, a ball coming to rest on or over the 3rd fairway is deemed out of bounds. (MARKED WITH A WHITE LINE) A ball past the distance marker on the 3rd tee is deemed in play. Whilst playing the 17th hole a ball coming to rest on or over the 15th fairway is deemed to be out of bounds (MARKED WITH A WHITE LINE). The out of bounds is from the White Line. The player shall play a ball, under penalty of one stroke as near as possible at the spot from which the original was played.

4. Obtructions

A ball may be lifted and dropped without penalty, within one club length and not nearer the hole if the playing of the stroke is impeded by man hole covers or lateral Water Hazard post (deemed tomovable/immovable obstructions Rule 24.2). Free relief cannot be obtained from white boundary markers. The section of the bridges, outside the Lateral Water Hazard on the right side of the 13th green are deemed to be immovable obstructions. Rule 24-2b. The safety fence on the left side og the 13th fairway is deemed to be an immovable obstruction. Rule 24-2b.

5. Paths

All paths are an integral part of the course.

6. Stones in Bunkers

Stones in bunkers may be removed without penalty.

7. Staked Trees

The ball must be lifted and dropped, without penalty, within one club ength of the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole under           Rule 24-2.
