St. Andrews Boys Murray Mitchell Cup
Jordon Cook

Day 1

Was tough bogeying the last to miss out on the scratch match play on count back, however, I qualified to play in the Murray Mitchell trophy the handicap matchplay

 Day 2

I was drawn against a steady competitor, I was 2 up with 3 to play and lost the 15th and 18th holes to take it to extra holes then I went on to birdie the 4th extra hole to win the match.

 Day 3

The second round was probably the best I played all week, another very consistent round on the Eden lead me to a 3/1 victory and qualifying to play on the old course on Friday

 Day 4

Semi Finals and Finals

In my Semi Final match I got off to a great start on the old course birdying the first hole, then I struggled up until the 9th where I was 2 down, I then got my match back and I was 1 up going up the 18th, a bit nervous standing on the tee I decided to hit 5 iron off the tee and found the path...I played off the path to the front of the green and 3 putted to take it to my second playoff of the week. Halving the first two holes in pars I went on to birdie the 21st hole to go through to the final. The wind got up in the afternoon and I started to get very tired I was 2 down standing on the 10th tee then the next thing I knew I was 4 Down with 5 to play, then I finished, birdie, par, birdie, bogey to get the match back to 1 down with the 18th to play, I went on to birdie the last to take the match to another playoff, I then parred the 19th hole to win the St. Andrews Boys Murray Mitchell Cup.
