JUNIOR REPORT

Our first match was against Northumberland at home which we won 10-2 with Jordan, Chris, Andrew, James and Jake all winning comfortably.

Our second game against Morpeth away, which we lost 8-4. It was a tough day with poor playing conditions; however, Andrew and Jack went on to win gaining us 4 points.

Thirdly we played Parklands at home. Unfortunately we only had 5 players. Our 5 players won their matches giving us a 10-2 victory.

Blyth were our 4th opponents. This is always a tough venue to play at and the result confirmed this. Resulting in us losing 8-4. Jordan and Jake being victors.

Our 5th game was at home to Tynemouth which we won 10-2. Jordan, Andrew, Jack, Liam and Mat McCarthy winning their matches.

Our winning sequence continued with a  home fixture against Newcastle United. On a very windy day the team were victors by 10-2. Jordan, Chris, Jack, Liam and Mat winning their matches.

In the first of our reverse matches we visited Northumberland Juniors. In a poor performance we lost 9-3  Andrew won his match and Jack gained a half.

Newcastle Untied away proved to be very difficult with the match being abandoned due to heavy rain. As sufficient holes had been completed the result was allowed to stand.

Morpeth at home was our next match. Resulting in a 6-6 draw.

Our remaining matches are; Blyth at Home, Tynemouth and Parkalnds away.

Good results in these matches will ensure our qualification for the “Play Offs”

At the moment we are lying second in our group  3 points behind leaders Morpeth
