A day on the golf course does not get much better
than what 2011 Lagonda Trophy champion Philip Ridden experienced at Gog Magog yesterday.
For not only did the 26-year-old clinch the prestigious title with an impressive total of 275 – five shots under par – he also sunk a hole-in-one.
"I’m really delighted to have won it," he said. "It feels great but on the last couple of holes I wasn’t relaxed."
