MEET THE COMMITTEE

Sharon Whitehead - Chair

Sharon is responsible for ensuring that the organisation of the club runs smoothly according to the club constitution.  She works with the Club Captain to provide a strategy for club development.  The Chair also liaises with other sections of Richmond FC and with the General Manager of the RAA.  

Helen Ives - Club Captain

Helen is responsible for the co-ordination of the playing issues within the club, including the development of Women's and Girls' rugby.  Helen (in addition to your team coach and captain) is your main point of contact for all feedback, comments and issues relating to playing matters.

Oli Davies - Secretary

Oli is responsible for general communication within and out with the club.  She organises Executive, General and Annual General Meetings.  She also takes and distributes the minutes from these meetings.

Jen Kehoe - Treasurer

Jen is responsible for keeping the women's section accounts, delegating collection of match fees and producing the financial end of season report.  She also assists the Chair to present the budget to the Richmond FC Management Committee.

Laura Smith - Fixtures Secretary

Laura organises fixtures for the three senior squads.  She is also responsible for confirming food and pitches to the RAA, arranging referees for home games, providing directions to the opposition, and arranging squad travel through Richmond FC.

Becci Singleton - Membership Secretary

She is responsible for collection of membership subscriptions, production of contact lists and ensuring registration of players with the RFUW and Richmond FC.

Karen Jones - Coaching Coordinator

Karen liaises with the coaching team regarding coach availability, session planning, requirements for friendlies and the club weekend.

Anita Mitchell - Press and Publicity

Anita is responsible for the Club's public face, working to get stories into the local and rugby specific press.  She is also responsible for communication within the club such as the website and monthly newsletters.

Anna Butler - Social Secretary

Arguably the most important person in the club!  Anna organises the Christmas Party, End of Season dinner, post-match fancy dress codes and many social outings through out the year.  Contact her if you have any ideas for an event.

Chris Ovenden - U17 Coaches/Managers

Chris works with the Club Captain and our coaching staff to provide a programme of training and matches for our junior academy.

NEW! - Community and Volunteer Coordinator

The person who fills this position will be responsible for managing our interactions with the wider rugby and local communities, working with other clubs, schools and groups within the Richmond area to increase our profile.  They'll also work with the RFU and other sports groups to encourage a successful team of volunteers at the club.
