Sponsorship Due to the high costs associated with playing rugby on the 7s circuit, the Pink Ba-Bas would welcome any sponsorship opportunites in order to be able to continue our winning ways!

Who are the Pink Ba-bas?

The Pink Ba-bas are a team of outgoing and sporty girls. They were formed in 2005 for the Aberaeron 7s as a result of one too many ‘lemonades’ in the Sun Inn, Richmond. It was the brainchild of two friends with a passion for 7s and a desire to play with like minded people.

However, since then the Pink Ba bas has grown exponentially with the girls now attending a vast number of competitions all over the world. The Pink Ba Bas enjoy playing competitively on the pitch, but retain their original ethos by thoroughly enjoying the fantastic social scene that accompanies the 7s circuit.

Comprising of players from many of London and the South West’s top clubs including Richmond, Harlequins, Rosslyn Park, Wasps, Henley and Old Albanians they also have many players who have played to international or representational level.

What’s in it for you?

Competing in numerous national and international tournaments the Pink Ba Bas can offer you access to a large number of consumers. Branding is offered on social as well as playing kit, which means your brand will be visible amongst large crowds, players and also in bars and clubs wherever the team socialise. The Ba Bas also have an active PR Officer who secures online coverage and articles in sports, local and national press. In the UK the team offer exposure within the top women’s teams in the London and South West area including Richmond, Wasps, Henley, Harlequins, Saracens, Rosslyn Park and Teddington.

Further to this, as fit young ladies who take their sport seriously they are perfect ambassadors for any brand. With their distinctive pink colour, good looks and vibrant personalities, the Pink Ba Bas gain much attention, which makes them an attractive proposition for any potential sponsors with presence on their clothing bound to get you noticed.

Forget radio ads, billboards, vehicle branding and posters, what better way to raise awareness than to have your own interactive brand ambassadors? It is their policy to learn as much as they can about their sponsors in order to ensure they can be the best possible ambassadors for your brand. They have even been known to make appearances at sponsor’s trade fairs and charity events!! The Pink Ba Bas can offer a flexible list of opportunities and are always willing to negotiate to ensure both parties get the most from the relationship. This sort of flexibility and dedication is not something you will find amongst our male counterparts.

How can you help?

All participants are amateur and therefore are required to pay for their own tournament registration, accommodation, travel and kit, which all adds up to a large personal expense. They are therefore always keen to hear from potential sponsors and welcome any donations, whether monetary or practical assistance by way of playing or social clothing and equipment. The Pink Ba Bas would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer to enable the girls to compete in the many competitions held during the 7s season.
