Hythe and Dibden Under 13s entertained Parley in a pre cup warm up match. The first 30 over game our colts had played but a great afternoon in which Parley played their part in a very sporting contest.

With both sides playing with 12 men the Under 13s were able to hand Monty Gilbert his first Hythe and Dibden Cap. It was his brother though who stole the show batting to carry his bat through the innings - reaching 38 not out at the close against what was a very strong bowling attack which included several Dorset players. Sam Kelly, Lewie Fay and Tom Knight-Owen also scored runs from the bat but it ended up not being enough.

Parley reached their target in the 24th over despits 2 wickets from Ali Briers. They did however play out their overs to allow Monty Gilbert his bolwing debut. He obliged with a wicket and there was also one for Tom Knight-Owen. Parley win by 37 runs.
