barbeque evening
END
OF SEASON COLTS TEAM BBQ GREAT SUCCESS
The Hythe & Dibden Cricket Club Committee
would like to thank everyone who helped out, brought food,
supported or participated in last nights Colts Evening.
I cannot recall a more successful event
at the club on a non match day.
Special thanks goes to Sue and Richie Froggett
who organised the event and have worked their socks off running
the colts section over the last few years.
There were plenty of the senior players at the
club last night who must have been impressed by the event and if
they didn't already know it - how much colts cricket is now a big
part of our club.
Remember the seasons not over for the colts - The
Tony Woodhouse Trophy is a competition set up to bring colts into
adult cricket. The game is played with 5 senior players and 6
colts once a month on a Sunday. With two games to go Hythe lead
the table thanks to Harry Smith's hat-trick against Fawley.
If your son is interested in playing and ready to
take the plunge then let Richie know and he can pass on detais to
the Sunday skipper.
Zac Miller makes his senior debut this weekend -
well done to him
