Last Ball In Top of The Table Clash
In an
exciting match Hythe lost this top of the table clash on the last
ball of the game. Hythe without the experience of Indoor skipper
Kev James posted 119 for 3 off their 12 overs with Rich Froggett
top scoring with 29*. Matt Howe 26* and Richie Bunce 25* also
made good contributions.
Richie
Bunce must have impressed club skipper Si Dixon with his 2-26 off
3 overs and Matt Howe turned in an impressive 0-17 off 3.

2's Win by 1Run In Close Encounter
In
another close encounter Hythe 2's remained top of the league
after a 1 run win over OSCC. Neutrals in the crowd however would
have it that they were aided by the umpires fresh back from a
course at the Ryde school of umpiring. Hythe batted first and
were once again indebted to the experience of Wayne Effeny 53*
and Sean Tongs 26*. Crouchey also chipped in with a useful 12* at
the end.
OSCC
chased well and were disappointed with two umpiring decisions
from 'trigger James'. Needing 2 runs off the last ball a wicket
fell and Hythe remained top of the league.
