2000 SEASON

Hythe First’s in the new County 4 division had a good season finishing 8^th, new overseas bat Lee Fraser scored 450 runs from just 7 games before mysteriously going back to Aus, but Simon Wright continued his fine run of form with the bat finishing 6^th the league averages & Skipper Paul Whitlock as dominant as ever, finished 3^rd in the league bowling averages.

The Second XI finished in a respectable mid table position but owed a big thanks to Aussie Dave Ryan who topped the regional bowling averages and scored plenty of runs. The Sunday XI were impressive with both bat and ball, Paul Whitlock & Steve Chiverton topping the respective averages.
