The First XI under new Captain Richard Froggett pushed hard for promotion but run out of steam late on in the season finishing a disappointing 5^th, the loss of Paul Whitlock to injury was probably the difference between going up and not. Christof Bothma has a superb season with bat and ball finishing 4^th in the League bowling averages.
