The first XI recorded a seven wicket win over Much Wenlock and in doing so move seven points clear of Madeley in third place.
The win was was down in no small part to Jimmy Arbuckle who recorded his best 1st team figures of 7-63 and Eugene McCarney who made a suberb 79.
Much Wenlock batted first and made 193-9 from their 50 overs although they will be disapointed because the top order batsmen had set the foundations for a much bigger total. However good bowling from spin twins Jimmy Arbuckle and Craig Jones restricted the visitors.
In reply Quatt never really looked in trouble despite losing Adam Evans early on. McCarney batted with intelligence for his 79 supported well by Dean Robinson (23) and Adrian Evans (40 not out). Quatt eventually reached their target with three overs to spare.

McCarney and Robinson share a 2nd wicket partnership of 95
