Regional Pathway Opportunities -2008Coaches and Managers
Applications are invited from enthusiastic, dynamic, self-motivated
Coaches and Managers with a desire to develop themselves.
The Rugby League Player and Coach pathway provides a number
of coaching and management opportunities and a brief outline of
each role is given below:

REGIONAL HEAD COACH (YORKSHIRE &NORTH WEST)
-U14,U15 &U16 AGE GROUPS
To work with the National Talent Identification Manager and
Performance Analysts to select the Regional Camp Teams.
You will be required to attend Regional Camp as a Performance
Analyst before preparing the Regional Team to compete in the
National Carnival.

REGIONAL HEAD COACH (CUMBRIA)
-U14,U15 &U16 AGE GROUPS
To work with the National Talent Identification Manager and Performance
Analysts to select the Regional Team. You will be required to attend
Camp as the Head Coach and prepare the team for the National Carnival.

REGIONAL HEAD COACH (LONDON &SOUTH AND NORTH EAST)
-U14,U15 &U16 AGE GROUPS
To work with the National Talent Identification Manager and Performance
Analysts to select the Regional Team. You will be required to prepare the team
for Regional games prior to the Regional Camp. At Camp you will be the
Head Coach of the team and prepare them for their final game.

REGIONAL HEAD COACH (COMBINED REGIONS-SELECTED
FROM THE PLAYERS THAT REPRESENT LONDON & SOUTH,
NORTH EAST AND SCOTLAND)-U14,U15 &U16 AGE GROUPSTo work with the National Talent Identification Manager and Lead Performance
Analyst to select the Combined Regions Team which will compete in the
National Carnival. Once the team is selected you will lead on a team preparation
camp prior to the carnival.

CAMP HEAD COACH (YORKSHIRE &NORTH WEST)-U13,U14 &
U15 AGE GROUPS (12 POSITIONS)
To lead your staff from Moderation day through to the final game on camp
taking responsibility for the preparation of the team, delivery of the camp
technical manual andoverseeing the team’s development (staff and players)
during the week.

CAMP ASSISTANT COACH (YORKSHIRE &NORTH WEST)
-U13,U14 &U15 AGE GROUPS (24 POSITIONS)
To work with your Head Coach to provide a high quality coaching environment
and assist in the development of the players in your team. You will be expected
to plan, organise/implement technical/tactical sessions and begin to develop a
quality team environment from moderation day through to the end of the camp.
You will also be expected to provide general support for members of your team
during the camp.

CAMP ASSISTANT COACH (LONDON &THE SOUTH)
-U13,U14 &U15 AGE GROUPS (3 POSITIONS)
You will work with your Head Coach to provide a high quality coaching
environment and assist in the development of the players in your team. You will
be expected to plan, organise/implement technical/tactical sessions and begin to
develop a quality team environment from moderation day through to the end of
the camp. You will also be expected to provide general support for members of
your team during the camp.

REGIONAL ASSISTANT COACH (LONDON & SOUTH
AND NORTH EAST)-U14,U15 &U16 AGE GROUPS (6 POSITIONS)
To prepare the Origin Teams as Head Coach before the Regional team is
selected. You will then assist the Regional Head Coach in the team’s preparation
for the Regionalgames which culminate in a four day residential camp. During the camp you will
be expected to plan, organise/implement technical/tactical sessions and assist
with the general support of your team during the camp.

REGIONAL ASSISTANT COACH (CUMBRIA)-U14, U15 &U16 AGE
GROUPS (6 POSITIONS)
You will work with your Head Coach to provide a high quality coaching
environment and assist in the development of the players in your team. You will
be expected to plan, organise/implement technical/tactical sessions and assist
with the general support of your team during the camp. You will then assist
the Regional Head Coach in the team’s preparation which culminates the
National Carnival.

CAMP CO-ORDINATOR (YORKSHIRE AND NORTH WEST)
-U13,U14 &U15 AGE GROUPS (6 POSITIONS)
To assist the Camp Director with the co-ordination of the Regional Camp.
This position incorporates management and co-ordination of camp preparations
and logistics.

CAMP TEAM MANAGER (YORKSHIRE AND NORTH WEST)
-U13,U14 &U15 AGE GROUPS (12 POSITIONS)
This position incorporates team management aspects from Pre-Camp Player
Fitness Testing and, whilst on camp, ensuring the players keep to the camp
schedule and are managed outside of training sessions. Attendance at the
Camp Moderation Day is also required. Camp Team Managers may be given
a development opportunity to manage a Regional team at National Carnival
and support the coaches in preparation for this event.

CAMP TEAM MANAGER (CUMBRIA)-U13,U14 &
U15 AGE GROUPS (3 POSITIONS)

Combined Regions team at National Carnival and support the coaches in
preparation for this event.
